ABSTRACT A framework for making sense of interviews and observations While it is relatively easy to gather video data and field
notes, making sense of what they've captured can be a challenge.
This is often due to not having a well-formed image of what constitutes
a theory-guided observation or a theory-oriented hypothesis.
This talk will address ways to collect and analyze qualitative
data so as to generate reliable, useful knowledge about mathematics
