ABSTRACT A framework for making sense of interviews and observations Pat Thompson While it is relatively easy to gather video data and field notes, making sense of what they've captured can be a challenge. This is often due to not having a well-formed image of what constitutes a theory-guided observation or a theory-oriented hypothesis.
