Registration is closed. The 2007 conference registration is here.

Registration fees are:

  • Faculty $425
  • Graduate students $205
    (Graduate student fees are lowered through generous support of the American Physical Society.)

Registration fees include:

  • Transportation to and from Bangor International Airport on Sunday, Aug 14, and Saturday, Aug 20.
  • Dormitory campus housing from Sunday through Friday night (i.e. to Saturday morning)
  • Breakfast daily (not including Saturday)
  • Coffee/tea break including muffins, cookies, etc. daily
  • Lunch daily
  • One banquet dinner at Bar Harbor Lobster Bakes

Dinner can be found in Bar Harbor, which is a short walk from the College of the Atlantic campus. Conference attendees have many options for excellent restaurants.

Some frequently asked questions:

Why can't I email my registration information, including a credit card?

UMaine conference services has pointed out that email is not secure. Therefore, they do not accept credit card information via email. Please fax or mail your registration.

Is there off-site housing for the conference?

If you prefer or need off-site housing, you must contact hotels. Note that prices are very high compared to dormitory housing. The Edenbrook and Highbrook have the best rates...

Is Friday night included in the dorm reservation?

Yes. Housing is provided from Sunday night through Friday night.
